In The Jungle The Baby's Room Cartoon Style.

Starting with a room painted "Bippity Boppity Blue, in Disney paints with white trim

The room has one
window
One entrance door and a double bi fold closet door set. Each painted white

After scetching out the design IN CHALK not pencil (because chalk disapears and pencil lines can
be seen often after the painting is done, and to me it looks very tacky to see those pencil marks.) I
started sketching in the biggest elements in the design and that was the trees. The background paint
was already in the room and the color worked well as a background, but they "Kids" paint has a coating
that gives the acrylic paint a glaze effect, it "moves" around on the surface and has interesting almost
pinger painting effects with each brush mark, so care was needed with each stroke, even in the blocking
in of color in big areas.
Next the animals were blocked in around the room, taking care to remember those
brush strokes, because a cartoon style image needs very crisp, clean edges and smooth
appearance of the paint.
After everything is blocked in the details are needed to make the design pop off the wall, and gain
personality, all the elements of the design are individually outlined, taking extra care to keep lines
very clean, shadows and light points are added and the painting part is all done.
Now the room just needs to be furnished and it is ready for the new baby girl
