My granddaughter has named our bathrooms, so this is the Princess Potty.
What is now the bathroom was once an existing bathroom space and half of a hallway. The space where we opened the wall was made into an arch, as arches are original to the building. In this space we have a hot water heater, washer/dryer, tub, sink and toilet yet there is a lot of room to move around.

Remember the strip of wood
on the ceiling? From this I
hung, with Velcro shimmery
drapery fabric and a light
weight shear that hangs to the
floor and puddles.
Pompom trim tops off the
drapes, the chandelier tops
off the ceiling. In the shower
we have a recessed can
light that I find very useful as
well as pretty.

The arch as it started
the hot water heater is in.
We have lots of help
around here
The washer and dryer are
in and a shelf unit to hide
the water heater.
Silver walls have a mural of
purple cloth, all held up
with real costume jewelry
that I glued to the walls.
*note the strip of wood
attached to the blue ceiling.
The arch gets a base coat
of dark brown.
The mural goes all the way around the
room, on both sides of the arch.
Of course I am still a mess maker when I paint, yes that is my new sink full of paint water and dirty brushes. Yes it all cleaned up .

The total look is one that I
just love, very elegant and
fun at the same time.
Inside the bathroom door you can see the new arch and outside in the back hallway arch original to the building.
